Thrilling forest and glacier runs - with around 170 different runs, the Gothics area has plenty of variety to offer experienced skiers and boarders. It is the only place that offers access to two of the best mountain ranges for heli-skiing in the whole of Canada.
The Gothics area lies in the Goldstream River Valley, embedded between the powder snow regions of the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains, in Canada. At almost 2,000 square kilometres in size and between 1,000 and 2,800 metres of altitude, the area offers 50% alpine runs and 50% forest runs – a heli-skiing dream come true. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the diversity of the landscape to the full on stunning forest glades, open ice fields and marathon-like runs with more than 2,000 metres’ difference altitude. There are legendary runs to look forward to, such as Run of the Century, Endless Journey and Boulder Peak.
The drive-in Gothics Lodge is situated at 700 metres of altitude, north of Revelstoke. The fully renovated accommodation is hidden in a side valley that is easily accessible by bus transfer or hire car. The helicopter flies straight from the doorstep to the runs and takes 3 groups of maximum 11 persons each. The Gothics Lodge is decorated in modern Alpine style, with a timeless, cosy ski atmosphere. 33 guests can enjoy a pleasant stay in comfortable rooms with an ensuite or shared bathroom.
